Myron "Sonny" Strain Jr., age 53 of Canton, GA, passed away on June 23, 2014 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming, GA. He is survived by Father and Mother, Myron and Marilyn Strain of Canton, GA; Sister Jan Butterworth and her husband Chuck of Dawsonville, GA; Sister Pam Stewart and her husband Travis of Fairmount, GA. Visitation for the Strain family will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 6-9PM. Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 10AM-1:30PM at Darby Funeral Home. The funeral service for Mr. Strain will be on Wednesday at 2PM at the Darby Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Jackie Stewart will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Emerson Cemetery in Bartow County. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these funeral arrangements.
