Nancy Evans, age 64, of Waleska, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025.
Born on March 30, 1961, in Sandy Springs, Georgia, Nancy was the daughter of Katherine and Ralph Pate. She dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a registered nurse for 40 years. Her compassion, strength, and commitment to helping people touched countless lives.
Nancy loved her dogs, the outdoors, and the freedom of riding her motorcycle. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her family, who were the center of her world.
She is survived by her loving husband, Stuart Evans of Waleska, GA; her mother, Katherine Pate of Canton, GA; her daughters Jessica (Justin) Hale of Birmingham, AL, and Michelle (Mark) Hamby of Birmingham, AL; her brother Tom (Karen) Pate of Georgia; and her six beloved grandchildren—Luke Hamby, Rose Hamby, Deacon Hamby, Isaac Hale, Rhett Hale, and Core Hale.
Nancy will be remembered for her generous heart, adventurous spirit, and the joy she brought to those around her.
