Nanella Bradshaw, 83 of Canton, passed away Monday, August 8. 2022, at her residence. Visitation will be Friday, August 12th from 6-8pm. The funeral will be Saturday, August 13th at 11am in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Brother Bill Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Enon Cemetery.
Mamommy was born in Kentucky in 1938. She moved to Woodstock, GA. on Christmas Eve 1946. Family meals were big and very important. She continued the tradition that was started by her parents. Sunday dinners, porch swings, homemade ice-cream, and kids running everywhere were closest to her heart. She loved Holiday Celebrations, Ormond Beach, Cades Cove, and Hiking in Gatlinburg. She enjoyed cooking with her grandkids. Her specialties were fried okra, "The Cake," and tea cakes.
Harold and Nanella set a wonderful legacy of love and the importance of family. They prayed for their family daily, adding people to their list constantly.
We are comfortable in our grief knowing that they are now dancing in heaven.
