In Loving Memory of Nathaniel Troy Gotschall October 13, 1989 – October 15, 2026Nathaniel Troy Gotschall, age 37, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on October 15, 2026, just two days after his 37th birthday. Though his life was far too short, he lived and experienced more than most at his age. The love he shared with his family and the memories he leaves behind will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Nate was born on October 13, 1989, in Tampa, Florida, to Lori Ann Wolfe and Troy William Gotschall. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a man who took great pride in his family and the life they built together. More than anything in this world, Nate loved his boys. Being a dad to Graham, age 6, and Weller, age 3, was one of the greatest joys of his life. His sons were his pride and joy, and he treasured every moment he spent with them. Whether he was sharing laughter and everyday moments at home or cheering Graham on at the kart track, Nate was happiest when he was with his boys. One of his greatest pleasures was watching Graham pursue his love of kart racing. Nate loved being there to encourage him, help him improve, and watch him grow in a sport that brought them so much joy. The time they spent together as a family at the track created special memories that Graham will carry with him as he grows. Though Nate's time with his boys was tragically cut short, the love he gave them will remain a part of their lives forever. Nate also deeply loved his wife, Nicole Elizabeth Gotschall, with whom he shared nine years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and dreams for the future. Nicole was his partner in life, and the family they created together meant everything to him. His passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of his wife and young sons, but the love they shared will never be lost. When he wasn't spending time with his family, Nate enjoyed being on the golf course or at the kart track with Graham. He was an enthusiastic sports fan who proudly followed UCF athletics, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Tampa Bay Rays. In his professional life, Nate took great pride in his work as a bulk packaging salesman, receiving multiple recognition for his successful sales records. He approached his career with dedication and commitment. Nate's passing is a heartbreaking loss for all who loved him. At just 37 years old, he had so much more life to live, so many more memories to make, and so many milestones ahead to share with his family. Although those moments will now be missed, the love he gave and the memories he created will continue to bring comfort to those who hold him dear. His legacy will live on through his children, in the stories shared about their daddy, and in the countless ways his family will continue to carry his love forward. Nate is survived by his beloved wife of nine years, Nicole Elizabeth Gotschall, of Canton, Georgia; his cherished sons, Graham Nathaniel Gotschall and Weller Cole Gotschall; his parents, Lori Ann Wolfe and Troy William Gotschall, of Land O' Lakes, Florida; his brother, Nicholas Lee Gotschall, and Yamira Cardec Serrano, of Tampa, Florida; his mother and father in law Beth and Craig Wethli, brother and sister in law Steven and Maddie Wethli, his maternal grandfather, Francis Wolfe; his paternal grandparents, William and Margaret Gotschall and many aunts, uncle’s and cousins with whom he was very close to. A Celebration of Life honoring Nate will be held at a later date.Though his time on earth was far too brief, Nate's love for his family will endure for generations. He will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished son and brother, and a friend to those whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
