Neena Haney, age 94 of Canton passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Cameron Hall Assisted Living. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 from Canton First United Methodist Church at 1PM with Rev. Jim McRae, Dr. C. R. Hill and Rev. Ed Towers officiating with interment to follow in Enon Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Friday, September 28, 2012 at Darby Funeral Home from 6-8:30PM. Mrs. Haney was preceded in death by her Husband J.B."Sonny" Haney. Survivors are Sons, Jehu Benjamin (Nance) Haney III of San Antonio, TX, Peter Medford(Mary) Haney of Alpharetta, and Daughter, Scottie(Glenn)Smith of Athens, GA. Also surviving are 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Canton First United Methodist Church, 930 Scott Mill Rd, Canton, GA 30115. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
