Nettie Curtis Brannon (53) passed away with the sunset on November 8th, 2020. She played her final song surrounded by love at her home in Panama City, Florida. She was born and raised in Canton, GA, where she spent most of her life. She was a mother, a wife, a DJ, a sister, and a friend. Nettie lived life with courage and an indomitable will. There was never a challenge she did not strive to overcome or an adventure she turned down. Nettie was preceded in death by her parents, Major and Bonnie Curtis. She is survived by her husband, Bill Brannon, and her daughter Mandi Harris. Her brother Ted Curtis, and her sisters of the heart, Dale Jones and Martha Stewart, also survive. Her dogs Toby and Sophie, and granddog Missy will forever miss her, too. She also has uncles, aunts, and cousins still living. Her words of advice to family and loved ones are, "Listen to the music, all the time."

The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 11am to 3pm. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 3pm in the chapel of Darby Funeral
