Norma Haines's Obituary
Norma Haines, 80, of Canton, GA, and formerly of Willimantic, CT passed away Monday, August 31, 2009.
She is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) Haines; son, Larry & Paulette Haines of Marietta,GA and daughter, Denise Graves of Canton, GA. Survivors also include grandchildren, Justin Haines, NY, NY; Courtney Haines, Windham, CT; Danielle & Jeffrey Eldridge, Colchester, CT; Rachel Graves, Canton; great-grandchild, Jeffrey Eldridge, Colchester, CT; brothers, Harold Michaud and Gregory Michaud, Windham, CT; Louis Michaud, Rocky Hill, CT; sisters, Kathy Wadsworth and Linda Griffen of Anderson, SC. She was predeceased by a son, Daniel Robert Haines.
Mrs. Haines was a 10 year volunteer with the Cherokee County Senior Center in Canton, GA and was president for 7 years of the Site Council there. She was a member of the VFW Post 1724 Ladies' Auxiliary in Willimantic, CT.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 19, 2009 from the Darby Huey Funeral Home Chapel in Canton, GA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
