Norman Moody, age 81 of Woodstock, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at his residence. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Monday, February 6, 2017 from 12:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. The funeral will take place on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Chalcedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Casey Richards and Rev. Alan Day officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Doris Moody of Woodstock, his son, Norman Terrell Moody of Orlando, FL., his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Lynn and Rocky Hendrix of Canton, his grandchildren, Amanda Lynn and Daniel Lomax, Rebecca Lynn and Stephen Dodge, and Brandon Lee Hendrix, and his great-grandchildren, Tessa Caroline Lomax and Chloe Laine Lomax. Mr. Moody was a member of Chalcedonia Baptist Church and a veteran of the Korean War. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
