Patricia Dianne Grimsley, 73, of Waleska, Georgia, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on August 31, 2026.

Born in Macon, Georgia, Dianne began her life in the place she called home before marrying the love of her life, Billy Grimsley. Together, they shared 56 years of marriage, including 24 years spent serving alongside Billy as he served in the U.S. Army. Their military life took them to different places and gave them a lifetime of experiences and memories, but through it all, family remained at the heart of Dianne’s life.

Dianne was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Rosa; father, Harold Bryant; and brother, Lamar Bryant.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Billy Grimsley; her two sons, Shayne Grimsley (Casey) and Joshua Grimsley (Lana); Sisters, Brenda (Ricky) Dokes, Nancy Howell, Ruby Jean Bryant, Erin Bryant; Brothers, Louie Bryant and Lewis Bryant; Three grandchildren, Sophia Grimsley, Ethan Grimsley and Jackson Grimsley, along with many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of Dianne’s life will be held September 10, 2026, at Darby Funeral Home from 8:30am to 10:00am, with a burial following at 11:00 am at the National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
