Phyllis Dianne Brockwell
September 20th 1945-January 19th 2026
Phyllis Dianne Brockwell of Canton, GA, passed away on January 19th, 2026, surrounded by
her family. She was born on September 20th, 1945, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late George
Elbert Green and Evelyn Layman.
Dianne is finally reunited with the love of her life and husband of 34 years, George Ed
Brockwell. Together, they lived a full life of love and adventure. Her later years were spent as a
dedicated mother and grandmother. Her last 11 years were spent living with her daughter and
her family.
Dianne was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family,
traveling to Hilton Head Island and New York City, and watching the Dallas Cowboys play. She
had a giving spirit and loved Jesus. She never met a stranger.
Dianne is survived by her daughter, Traci Bednarsky (Tom); her grandchildren Jenna Carver
(Greg), and Samantha Bednarsky; her great-grandson, Cash Carver; her brother, Mark Green;
her sister Ruth Paine (Chris); her brother-in-law Bert Brockwell (Terry); along with nieces and
nephews, and the family dog, Alaska.
