Phyllis Lee Rogers, 86, died on Friday November 6th, 2020 peacefully at her home in Ball Ground, Georgia. Born on October 2nd, 1934 to her late parents Edwin Paul Flinn and Iva Clarestine King Flinn in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Phyllis was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, devoted wife, homemaker and active member of the Canton First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her four sons Stuart Rogers and his wife Beverly of Henderson, TN, Brian Rogers and his wife Lora of Morganton, GA, Craig Rogers and his wife Missy of Kennesaw, GA, Kevin Rogers and his wife Leslie of Powder Springs, GA. She is survived by seven grand children Kyle and wife Mandy Rogers, Michael and wife Shelby Rogers, Bryce and wife Laura Rogers, Blaire Rogers, Steven and wife Kelly Rogers, Elizabeth Rogers and Emily Rogers. She is also survived by five great grandchildren Gabriella Cochran, Evan Cochran, Ronald Cochran, Wyatt Rogers and Riley Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilfred D. Rogers, her parents and her brothers William Flinn and Edwin Flinn of Parkersburg, WV.
There will be a visitation service on Monday November 16th from 9:30 – 11:30 PM at the Darby Funeral Home (770- 479-2193) 480 E Main St, Canton, GA. Phyllis will be laid to rest next to her husband of 57 years at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton GA at 1:30 PM for family members only.
