Randy Lamar Padgett, age 38 of Canton, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. and Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 10:00a.m. to 8:00p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 1:00p.m. at Landmark Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Gayton and Rev. Merrick McClure officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Betty Jo Ellis (Johnny Hitt) of Canton, his father, Randall Padgett of Alpharetta, his brothers, Joey (Sarah) Ellis of Fairmount, Richie Ellis of Canton, and Stanley Padgett of South Georgia, his sisters, Anna Padgett of Clarksville, TN., Vanessa Padgett of Bowling Green, KY, Tina Padgett of South Georgia, Elaine Padgett of Ellijay, and Vicky Padgett of Tennessee, and his grandmother, Annie Mae Ellis of Canton.
