In Loving Memory of Reba Walker
December 15, 1935 – December 31, 2024

Reba Walker, age 89, of Canton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024, at Canton Nursing and Rehab. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Reba was a cherished member of the Canton community and touched countless lives with her warmth and kindness.

Reba was a local fixture at the Basket Shack in Canton, where her welcoming smile and generous heart made her a friend to all who met her. Her life was a testament to love, dedication, and service to her family and community.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Gene Walker; her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Tim McWhirter of Waleska, GA; her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Walker of Canton, GA, Mark and Sue Walker of Canton, GA, and Kim Walker of Waleska, GA. Reba's legacy also includes nine loving grandchildren and seven
precious great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Free Hope Baptist Church in Jasper, Georgia. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories during visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, January 2, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Friday, January 3, from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Reba's kindness, dedication to her family, and her warm presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten. In her honor, let us continue to embody her spirit of love and hospitality.
