Richard William Jacobs, Jr., 84, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024.
Born on December 10, 1939, in Toledo, Ohio, Richard was the beloved son of Molly Forrester Jacobs and Richard William Jacobs, Sr.
He is survived by his children: Amy Grant (Matt) of Canton, Georgia; Brett Jacobs (Jennifer) of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Scott Jacobs (Paula) of London, England. He is also survived by his sister, Patty Newman of Michigan, seven cherished grandchildren—Allyson Plumberg, Ethan Jacobs, Ashton Jacobs, Megan Grant, Alex Grant, Finn Jacobs, and Jett Jacobs—and six precious great-grandchildren: Georgia Plumberg, Cyrus Plumberg, Phoebe Plumberg, Arlo Eben Plumberg, Milo Jacobs, and Quinn Jacobs.
Richard's life will be celebrated at a service to be held at a later date in Toledo, Ohio.
He will be remembered fondly by his family and friends for his unwavering love, his sense of humor, and the legacy of kindness and strength he leaves behind.
