Obituary

Robert Richard Juengel, 86, of Roswell, Georgia was welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior early Christmas morning December 25, 2020. Robert was born in Rochester, Michigan where he grew up on the family farm until going off to Michigan State University (MSU) to get his college education. He served for a while in the U.S. Marines during the time of the Vietnam War. He earned a degree in chemical engineering at MSU and his professional career was as a chemical engineer in the tire industry at Cabot Corporation. While working for Cabot he received many promotions, directorships, awards, and even a US patent related to his research with carbon black. Over the course of his rewarding working life, he was transferred to several states including Michigan, Ohio, Massachusetts, and finally settled in Georgia for the past 40 years. After retiring from Cabot, Robert spent the rest of his time devoted to his families and his church organizations. He even developed a talent for blowing the shofar at many religious services.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Mildred Juengel of Rochester, Michigan and his brothers, Harold Juengel, Eugene Juengel, Lawrence Juengel and Charles Morton. He is survived by his sister Florence (Juengel) Price of Utica, Michigan.
Robert is survived by his wife Rosa Juengel of Roswell and her children, Steven, David, Anita, Johnny, and Joy. Robert is also is survived by his three children from his previous wife (Gail Juengel Allen, deceased); Randal (Luann) Juengel of Oklahoma, Merrigail (John Roach) Juengel of Morganton and Gayla (Jim) Ricker of Canton. His grandchildren include Braden (Lisa) Juengel, Micah Juengel, Noelle Juengel and Katelyn Ricker.
Throughout his life, Robert strived to always be a good provider for his family and bestowed a great way of life for his children. He was a strong, stoic, quiet and supportive father who will be greatly missed by his family and church fellowships.

No services are scheduled at this time, but a celebration of his life will occur in the near future.
