Robert Rhodes, 91 of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at his residence.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, with a memorial service following at 1:00pm in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Rev. David Kenley will officiate.

Rob is survived by his loved and loving wife, Ann Rhodes of 62 years. He leaves his son, David (Mary Jo) Rhodes of Newnan, Georgia, daughter, Stephanie (David) Holcomb of Decatur, Georgia; grandchildren Delaney, Greyson (Madison), and Jillian; sister-in-law, Alison, along with his loving nephews and nieces.

Rob was born in Brooklyn, New York. His family moved to Spring Valley, New York in his high school teens. He Continued his education throughout his early marriage at Fairleigh Dickenson University in New Jersey, Columbia College of Pharmacy in New York City, graduating at Marist College in Westchester, New York with a B.S. at the age of 48. His young children and wife attended proudly. He pursued a career in programming throughout his life. Having moved to Atlanta in 1993, Rob worked for Nations Bank until his retirement. Rob was an avid Braves, Georgia Tech, and Falcon fan. He enjoyed travel, volunteering, and attending all of his children and grandchildren's events throughout the years.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Robert's memory to Must Ministries.
