Roland A. Taylor Sr.'s Obituary
Roland A. Taylor Sr. , age 99 of Canton, GA formerly of Atlanta, GA passed away on Sunday, April 23rd at Brookdale Assisted Living in Canton, GA. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 7th at Canton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim McRae officiating. Mr. Taylor was a WWII Navy Veteran. He is survived by:
Son - Stephen Taylor of Atlanta, GA
Daughter - Cindy Rogers of Canton, GA
Two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive. He is preceded in death by his wife; Frances Woodard and son Roland Taylor II.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Canton First United Methodist Family Fund. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
