Ronald Francis Burnard, 77 of Marietta, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023. A Funeral Service service will be held Friday, February 24th at 12:00pm in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Georgia National Cemetery with Chaplain Kelly Campbell officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until the funeral hour.
Mr. Burnard proudly served in the United States Air Force at Eglin AFB in supply, keeping the planes and jets flying. He was a graduate of the University of West Florida.
He was an award winning plumbing supply salesman then studied hard and passed the Master Plumbers exam on the first try, a notable accomplishment. He started his own business but recognizing his talent, he was recruited away by some of the major plumbing companies in Marietta to run their plumbing repair divisions.
His first love was family and boating and fishing. His happiest times was when he had his grandchildren on board sitting at the helm with him as they motored down Lake Altoona.
A stroke changed his life but he found new purpose in his support group Unlimited Possibilities. He made new friends and shared many a good laugh with them. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
