Obituary for Rosalind Stampf
Rosalind Stampf, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born on January 16, 1942, in Suffolk, New York, to Antonia Crewsick and Howell Hastings Reeves.
Rosalind lived a life filled with warmth, creativity, and deep devotion to her family. She loved music and dancing, finding joy in the rhythm of life and the simple happiness it brought. Her hands were rarely still—she delighted in crafts, gardening, and creating beauty wherever she was. Nature brought her peace, and in upstate New York she could often be found feeding the birds and deer she so lovingly cared for.
Above all else, Rosalind lived for her children and grandchildren. Her family was her heart, her pride, and her greatest joy. She also had a special love for animals, especially her cherished cat, Amber, who was a constant companion and source of comfort.
Rosalind is survived by her daughter, Stacy Marie Palazzo (Stephen) of Gainesville, Georgia; her sister, Gloria Marino of North Branford, Connecticut; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her loving spirit forward.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Louis Stampf Sr., whom she now joins in eternal rest.
Rosalind will be remembered for her gentle heart, her joyful spirit, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. A service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
