Rose M. McMickens, 87, of Canton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Ms. McMickens retired from the Brian Center in Canton, Georgia where she worked for many years spreading love and truly caring for the people she served.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Darby Funeral Home. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Hickory Log Baptist Church, located at 179 Belletta Drive, Canton, Georgia. Rev. Justin Lee will officiate the service.

Ms. McMickens was preceded in death by her Husband Hansel Joe McMickens and her son, Bobby Louis McMickens. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Mary Jo McMickens of Canton, Georgia; her grandchildren, Tim McMickens and Dr. Tryan McMickens; and her great-grandchildren, Kayla McMickens, Raven Frear, Jasmine Albright, Timothy McMickens, Jr., Isaiah McMickens, and Baldwin McMickens. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish her memory.
