Mrs. Moss, a resident of Ball Ground, Georgia died at home on January 23, 2015. She was 92 years old. Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday January 26, 2015 from the Chapel at Darby Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Jasper, GA. Visiting hours will be from 2:00PM- 6:00PM Sunday January 25, 2015. She was born in Union County in Georgia on July 14, 1922, daughter of Eugene and Eliza Rabun. On December 24, 1941, she married Tom Moss, the love of her life. They were constant companions until his death on October 16, 2006.

She was a strong, fiercely independent woman, who lived alone in her home until her death. She loved her flowers, being outside, and her freshly turned garden. She is and will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and her beloved Tom.

She is survived by her son Garry and his wife Jessica; grandchildren Mary Beth Moss, Sam Moss, and Joshua Moss; great grandchildren Ashton Adams and Isabella Moss.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Anna Crawford Children's Center, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Easter Seals, or the charity of your choice.
