Ruthell Fowler, age 80 of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at her daughter's residence in Dalton. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 2:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. The funeral service will take place on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 11:00a.m. from the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Buckman and Dr. Jefferey McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. She is survived by her son, Chris (Beth) Fowler of Canton, Her daughter, Debra Vaughn of Dalton, her brother, Ralph Lewis of Canton, and her sisters, Nell Dunn of Holly Springs and Evelyn Woodall of Canton. Three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
