Ruthell Terry, age 91 of Atlanta, GA, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at her residence. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Macedonia Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Macedonia Memorial Park. Rev. John Lummus, Rev. Bobby Padgett, and Rev Phillip Young will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Terry was the eldest of 10 children, and survivors include her sisters, Mary Cato of Monroe Ga., Dorothy Grinberg of Woodstock, Ga., and Kathryn Young of Canton, Ga.; brothers, Al Johnson of Dalton, Ga, Frank Johnson of Canton, Ga., Herb Johnson of Canton, Ga., and Jeryl Johnson of Atlanta, Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband Weldon Terry, her parents Charlie & Bertha Doss-Johnson, and her brothers, Everett Johnson and James Johnson.
