Sara Catherine Moore Lewis, age 76 of Canton, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 13th from 5:30-8:30pm. The funeral will be on Thursday, October 14th at 11am at the Chapel of The First Baptist Church of Woodstock with Reverend Ken Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her father, J.D. Moore, her birth mother, Elsie Hathcock, and her brother, James Moore.
She is survived by:
Mother – Jackie Moore of Canton
Daughter – Jenny (Jeff) Hodges of Waleska
Son – Jon Lewis of Marietta
Grandchildren – Mary Katherine Lewis, Dryden Lewis, Caroline Lewis, J.D. Hodges, Jonathan Hodges
