Sarah Pauline Clausen
December 9, 1933 – January 8, 2025

Sarah Pauline Clausen, age 91, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 9, 1933, in Cherokee County, Georgia, she was the cherished daughter of Jessie Ingram Denney and Hunt Denney.

A graveside service to honor her life will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the Georgia National Cemetery.

Sarah leaves behind a large and devoted family, including her daughters: Regina Martin (Dewey) of Canton, GA; Vickie Siler (Maurice) of Powder Springs, GA; Sherry Majors (Billy) of Marietta, GA; and her sons: Randy Vaughan (Rhonda) of Canton, GA, and Timothy Vaughan (Cherilyn) of Cartersville, GA. She was a beloved grandmother to 12 grandchildren, a great-grandmother to 22 great-grandchildren, and recently, a proud great-great-grandmother to one.

She was preceded in death by Dewey Waymond Vaughan and Edward Martin Clausen, and her granddaughter, Marcy Siler.

Sarah's legacy is one of love, family, and enduring strength. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
