Scott Edward Ogburn, 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 8, 2025 from complications of leukemia.
Scott always had a smile and a generous heart and gave much to many.
Scott was retired from S&S Technical, Inc, a Company he founded in 2006. He loved a mechanical challenge and took great pride in being able to meet his customers needs. He was proud to be surrounded by many who helped make the company successful. He was a mentor to many and a friend to all.
Scott also loved to fly. He had his private and commercial pilots license and was excited to begin training to gain a helicopter rating to round out his aviation accomplishments. He met many great friends during his time as a pilot. He also loved to collect and tinker with cars that had special meaning to him throughout his life.
Scott met many wonderful people throughout North Georgia, and wherever he would travel singing karaoke. Scott was never shy to pick up the mic at any event and would surprise many with his singing talents and his ability to get a party started.
He is proceeded in death by his mother and father Jacqueline and John Ogburn, USCG, Ret.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Ogburn, his children and their spouses Michael Scott & Gina Ogburn, Elena Caroline & Richard Howard, Lana Markina & Adam Orsak, and Jonathan M. Register.
He loved his eight grandchildren and was looking forward to his 9th being born in June.
Addysan ,Skylar, Mckenzie, Eli, Benjamin, Kaiden, Layla, and Ari. Also surviving are his brothers and their spouses Bart and Kathy Ogburn and Brett and Michelle Ogburn. Many nieces and nephews and extended family, and his faithful dog companion Piper.
Visitation will be held Thursday February 13, 2025 at Darby Funeral Home located at 480 E Main St., Canton GA from 1pm - 3pm with a service to immediately follow.
