Sharon Jean Anderson, 70 of Canton, GA., passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at her residence. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 22nd from 2-3pm at Darby Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 3pm in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Walker officiating.
Sharon was a lifelong southern girl having been born in Augusta, Georgia, in 1954 and then moving to the Atlanta area in 1980 to begin her nursing career. She was a loving Caregiver both in her job as a neonatal, ICU/CCU nurse for more than 40 years as well as a loving, adoring Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Her greatest joy was to see her children and grandchildren happy. She was also an avid doll collector as they reminded her of the joy she had as a child and as an adult raising her own children. Her loving guidance and wisdom will be missed by everyone that knew her.

Son - Matthew Thomas (Sarah Wellman) Anderson of Macon, GA.
Daughter - Jennifer Leigh (David) Bishop of Lenoir City, TN.
Daughter - Erin Amanda (JB Hopkins) Anderson of Decatur, GA.
Brother - Ken Fletcher Bugg of Milledgeville, GA.
Sister - Angela Bugg (Kenny) Walker of Milledgeville, GA.
Grandchildren - Dakota Wyatt (Emma Simpson) Bishop, Colton Maverick Bishop, Jackson Thomas Murray, Layla Rose Murray.
