Obituary

Sharon Fountain Bryant was born in Savannah Georgia on March 7, 1951 and departed for her heavenly home surrounded by her family on May 11, 2026.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents James and Nell Fountain and her brothers Gary and James Fountain. She is survived by her brother Stanley Fountain and his wife Nancy Fountain. She is also survived by her husband of 55 years Walter Bryant. She is also survived by her daughter Julia Bryant Cummings and her two daughters Courtney and Peyton. She has one son Walter Bryant and his wife Rachel and their two daughters Chloe and Addison.

Sharon graduated from Savannah High School and attended Draughon Business College. Sharon and husband Walter were married in Savannah and moved to the Atlanta area. They founded eBryIT in 1990 and it became a Certified Women’s Business Enterprise National Council business. Sharon became CEO in 2004 and was an extraordinary leader whose vision, dedication and commitment helped shaped the company into what it is today.

Sharon grew up loving the Lord and participating in numerous church activities through out her life. She was an avid tennis player, enjoyed traveling around the world and was happiest spending time with her family. She loved watching her four granddaughters grow up and was always on the sidelines at their activities cheering them on. One of Sharons favorite things to do was to take her granddaughters shopping and she never missed any opportunities to spend time with them. Sharon and Walter were members of the Savannah Yacht Club where they loved spending time on their boat, fishing and stopping to put her toes in the sand. Sharon had a deep compassion for those around her and would always greet you with her beautiful smile. She was full of energy, vibrant, out going, funny and vivacious!

Sharon and her husband were active members of the Dallas Safari Club and went on many trips to Africa where they participated in conservation of wildlife, building a school roof, installing a refrigeration unit and providing a water well for a village. A highlight for Sharon was passing out candy and toys to the kids in the villages. Sharon was a generous soul that was always freely and kindly giving to others.

The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life and reception Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Sutallee Baptist Church at 4:00pm. There will be a reception to follow. The family requests that you wear bright colors that matched her vibrant personality!
