Sheldon Brown age 83 of Woodstock, GA passed away August 30, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM Saturday September 3rd from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:30PM until the funeral hour. Pastor Jerry Womack will officiate.
Sheldon was born March 30, 1939 in New York. The son of Max & Annette Brown, His family migrated to the United States from Lithuania in the early 1900's. Sheldon took over the family bakery at an early age. Browns Bakery was a staple in the Los Angeles market for over 75 years. In the local community Jewish holidays weren't complete without Browns baked goods on their table. Sheldon's work ethic and commitment earned him recognition from colleagues, family and friends alike. His love & kindness for family and friends was clearly expressed everyday of his life. Sheldon & Judy's home in Northridge California was the nucleus for family, friends, special events and parties for over 3 decades. Sheldon & Judy moved to Atlanta where he continued his trade of baking and engaging with customers at Publix Market for over 17 years.

Sheldon leaves behind his wife Judy, whom he was married to for 62 years, three children Sheri, Craig and Lisa and 8 grandchildren whom he adored!
He is loved by everyone who knew him and will truly be missed.
