Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Wife, and Community Member

Shirley Ann Rollins, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. A longtime resident of Canton, GA, Shirley was well known and deeply loved as a talented hairdresser who served her community with kindness, warmth, and a generous spirit.

Shirley was the heart of her family, a woman whose gentle presence and unwavering love brought joy to all who knew her. She was the devoted wife of the late Bobby Rollins, with whom she shared a beautiful life. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, love, and strong family values that will continue to guide those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her loving son, Ronnie Rollins, (Ann) and her devoted daughter, Lynda Hawkins. Shirley was a proud and caring grandmother to Travis Poole, Lindsey Rogers (McClane), and Leah Vane (Zackary)and her late grandson, Josh Poole, who preceded her in passing and is now reunited with her in peace.
Shirley also has three step-grandchildren Jessica, Shelby and Brice who brought us all eight wonderful step-great grandchildren.
Shirley also treasured her relationships with sisters Juanita Kendrick, Annette Belcher, and sister-in-law Regina Reece. Her late brother Kenneth Reece also held a special place in her heart.
Every member of the family will carry forward her legacy of compassion, strength and grace.

In her later years, Shirley shared a special companionship and friendship with Joe Dowda and his family.

Shirley's life was one of service, both to her family and her community. As a hairdresser in Canton, she offered more than just her skills—she offered an ear, a smile, and a welcoming heart. She was a steady presence and mentor in the lives of many, and her memory will continue to live on in the stories, traditions, and love she instilled in her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Darby Funeral Home in Canton, GA on Sat, June 21st, 3-7 pm and Sun, June 22nd, 11 am to 1 pm. Funeral services will take place at Chalcedonia Church in the Keithsburg community of Canton, GA on Sunday June 22nd at 2 pm with family and friends gathering to celebrate a life so well lived. Her body will be laid to rest at Macedonia Memorial Park in Canton, GA.

Shirley will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
