Stephanie Lee Peck Waters, age 51, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Stephanie was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother. She graduated from Cherokee High School and Chattahoochee Technical College. For 28 years, she faithfully served as a paraprofessional with Cherokee County Schools, touching the lives of many students and colleagues. She was a dedicated member of Toonigh Baptist Church and had a special love for spending time at the beach.

She is survived by her husband, Chris Waters of Canton, GA;  Mother, Judy Peck, Canton, GA her son, Blane ( Faith)  Waters of Canton, GA; her daughter, Chloe Waters of Canton, GA; her sisters, Shelia Peek of Canton, GA, and Crystal Peardon of Cedartown, GA; and her beloved grandchildren, Jesse Waters and Ren Waters.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Darby Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Sandidge, Rev. Cliff Barnes, and Rev. Jimmy Gayton officiating. Interment will follow at Lebanon Methodist Church Cemetery.
