Susan Ilene Cappolla, 65 of Canton, GA passed away Saturday August 16, 2014 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday August 19, from the Darby Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Ron Anspaugh officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00- 8:00 PM and Monday 5:00- 8:00 PM. Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Kate & Matt Cates, Canton, GA; sons & daughters-in-law, Jamie & Donna Gianfala, Canton, GA; Mike & Amy Gianfala, Canton, GA; brother, Frank Cappolla, West Hempstead, NY; sister, Judy Boyden, PA; 6 grandchildren also survive. Ms. Cappolla retired from Cherokee County 911 after 15 plus years. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
