Susan Mai McCormick, age 86 of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Montgomery, AL. Visitation will take place an hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Heritage Cemetery in Montgomery, AL. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bud McCormick and her son, John W. McCormick. She is survived by her sons, Daniel A. (Robin) McCormick of Dallas, TX., Michael K. (Celeste) McCormick of Gardendale, AL., Brian A. McCormick of Montgomery, AL., her daughters, Peggy L. (Eugene) Dodson of Everett, WA., Paula L. (Harry) Hegger of St. Louis, MO., Patty S. (Larry) Huys of Birmingham, AL., and Kelly A. (Kevin) Cumbie of Canton, GA. Sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
