In Loving Memory of Tegan Elizabeth King

Tegan Elizabeth King, beloved daughter, little sister, granddaughter, niece, and cherished baby girl, passed away on August 26, 2026, at just 7 weeks and 6 days old.

Tegan was born on July 2, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia, to her loving parents, Mary Grace Meyer and Alexander Daniel King. From the moment she entered this world, Tegan was deeply loved and treasured by her family.

Tegan was a beautiful little girl whose time on earth was far too short, but whose presence touched the hearts of everyone who loved her. She will forever be remembered for her big beautiful eyes, perfect smile, sweet baby coos and joy she brought to everyone around her. Every moment with her, no matter how brief, was precious and will be held close forever.

Tegan was the cherished little sister of Penelope Victoria King, who will forever carry the love and memory of her baby sister in her heart.

She will also be deeply loved and remembered by her grandparents, Lawrence and Pegge Meyer and Elisabeth King, aunts and uncle, Joshua and Adele Meyer, Molly Meyer, and Bianca King; and countless family members and friends whose lives were forever changed by her.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Dwight Daniel King.

Although Tegan’s life was much too short, she gave her family a lifetime of love in the precious time they were blessed to have her. Her tiny life made an enormous impact, and her memory will live on through the people who loved her most.

There will never be enough words to express how deeply Tegan was loved, nor how profoundly she will be missed. She will forever be Mary Grace and Alexander’s precious daughter, Penelope’s baby sister, and her family’s beloved Teegs.

“You were here for such a short time, but you left enough love to last forever.”

A memorial service will be held on September 4, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Darby Funeral Home.
