Thelma Blondine “Bobbie” Cowart, age 93, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Canton Nursing Center.

Bobbie was married to Henry Cowart Jr. for 55 years. Her greatest achievement in life was her children, whom she loved dearly, and the welcoming home she created for them and their friends. Her home was always open, and she took great pride in making everyone feel loved and welcome.

Bobbie was also the proud owner of Cowart’s Personal Care Home, with locations in Canton and Tucker, Georgia, where she served others for 20 years.

She is survived by her son, Henry (Laci) Cowart III of Carrollton, Georgia; her daughters, Trina (Jeff) Cain of Commerce, Georgia; Lisa (Randy) Tenney of Tucker, Georgia; and Tresa Hughes of Canton, Georgia.

She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Whitney (Peter) Reece, Cliff (Cynthia) Cowart, Clay Cowart, Capt. Bo Cain, Ella Grace Cain, Carter Tenney, Levi Hughes and Brock Campbell as well as five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
