Theodore "Ted" Eldon Melson Jr., age 74 of Canton, passed away on august 18, 2018 at his residence. Private services will be held for Mr. Melson. Survivors include wife Janet Melson of Canton, GA; sons Kristopher Stephen Melson of Thailand; son Patrick Joel Melson of Elmhurst, IL; daughter Caitlyn Suzanne Melson-Madison of Smyrna, GA; sister Jadee Porter of Kansas City, MO; sister Karen Sutton of Lee's Summitt, MO; and 7 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospitals in Mr. Melson's memory. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Melson Family.
