Thomas A. Fowkes, age 85 of Canton, Georgia, passed away on May 24, 2026.

Born on August 17, 1940 in Elyria, Ohio, Tom was the son of the late Reginald and Lucille Fowkes. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Barry and Ron and sister Judy, and his grandson, Matthew McKlveen.

Tom will be lovingly remembered by his loving and devoted wife, Carol Fowkes of Canton, Georgia; daughter, Denise (Jack) McKlveen of Canton, Georgia; son, Brad Fowkes of Avon Lake, Ohio; grandchildren, Tom (Danielle) McKlveen, Nick (Eric Naumann) Fowkes, and Noah Fowkes; great-grandchildren, Ryan McKlveen and Mason McKlveen; and sister, Kate Fowkes of Melbourne, Florida.

Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother who cherished the time he spent with his family. His memory will forever be treasured by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends for visitation at Darby Funeral Home on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
