Thomas Krueger, age 86 of Canton, GA, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at his residence in Charlotte NC. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 27th from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. The funeral will be on Thursday, March 28th at 2:00p.m. in the chapel of Canton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Kenny Ott officiating.
Mr. Krueger graduated from the University of Kansas with a law degree. He was a corporate attorney for Exxon for many years, working in Oklahoma, California, Malaysia, Texas, and Alaska. He retired and has been living in Georgia for 25 years. He was an active member of Canton First United Methodist Church and the Cherokee Historical Society. He went back to school at Kennesaw University and earned a history degree in 1997.
He was preceded in death by his son, August Krueger. He is survived by:
Wife - Jean Krueger of Canton
Son - Jack Krueger of Overland Park, KS.
Son - Randy Krueger of Sunrise, FL.
Daughter - Penny Krueger Bones of Charlotte, NC.
Brother - Roy Krueger of Russell, KS.
Sister - Pamela Krueger of AZ.
Sister - Sylvia Havner of KS.
Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
Family will receive flowers or donations may be made to the August C. Krueger Memorial Endowment Fund at Kennesaw State University,
