Timothy J. "Tim" Hatlevig, age 70, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Northside Hospital Cherokee.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Dawn Hatlevig of Canton, Georgia; his daughter, Cameron Hatlevig of Chicago, Illinois; his son and daughter in law, Joshua and Adrienne Hatlevig of Villa Rica, Georgia; his sisters, Reggie Hare and Bridget Riley; his brother, Brian Hatlevig; and his two cherished grandchildren, Lena Hatlevig and Callan Hatlevig.

Tim was a devoted Christian whose faith guided his life each day. He read his Bible twice daily and lived out his beliefs through kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for others. He was a gentle and giving soul—someone who trusted easily, withheld judgment, and would gladly give you his last dollar if you were in need. Above all, he deeply loved his wife and his children, and his family was the greatest joy of his life.

Visitation will be held at Darby Funeral Home in Canton, Georgia, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home, with Chris Collett officiating. A private interment will follow.
