Colonel Tolbert Allen Daniels Jr. age 83 of Canton, GA passed away Tuesday June 17, 2014 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Colonel Daniels retired from the U.S. Army after 33 years of service. He was a graduate of Castle Heights Military Academy, University of Alabama (Where he played football) and University of Southern Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Friday June 20, 2014 from the Darby Funeral Home Chapel. Interment with Full Military honors will be held at a later date in Hattiesburg, MS. Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Daniels, Canton, GA; sons, Trey Daniels, III, Atlanta, GA; Michael Daniels, Riverview, FL; Stephen Daniels, Andover, MA; and Keith Edwin Daniels, Baytown, TX; daughters, Lorri Daniels Jackson, Fairhope, AL and Sherron Daniels Ward, Stockbridge, GA; 10 Grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren also survive.
