Twain Heaton passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 in Birmingham, AL. Services will be held at a later date with interment with military honors in Georgia National Cemetery. He is survived by his wife; Marsha Heaton; sons, Stephen (Susan) Heaton and Mark Heaton; grandsons, Stephen Heaton, Jr., Nicholas Heaton, Peter Heaton, and Tommy Heaton; nephew Christopher Mercer; niece Amanda Mercer; and mother-in-law Jean Navarro. In lieu of flowers, donations are to go to the Partners of Pickens Pet (POPP) by contacting Darby Funeral Home. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
