Mrs. Vesta C. Smithwick, age 96, of Canton, GA died Thursday, November 26, 2009 at her residence.  Funeral Services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, November 29, 2009 from the Canton First United Methodist Church.  Interment will be in the Orange United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Floyd Tenney and Rev. Ed Towers officiating.  Survivors are daughters & sons-in-law, Jean & Tom Krueger, Patsy & Kenneth Saxon, Fonda Oliver all of Canton, GA; Penny & George Koebel, Waleska, GA; brother, R.J. Chastain , Canton, GA; sister, Vernice Bowen, New Berry Park, CA.  Thirteen   grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren also survive.  Mrs. Smithwick was pre-deceased by husband, Tommy W.
