Viola Stoner, 88, of Ball Ground, GA died on Monday, January 25, 2010 at Grandview Health Care in Jasper, GA. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2010 in the Darby Huey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Floyd Tenney and Rev. Richard Poe officiating. Interment in Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 pm-9 pm and Wednesday 10 am-8 pm. at the funeral home. Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law, Wanda & Bob Dean, Marietta, GA and Jobyna & Buddy Stansel, Jasper, GA. Also surviving are grandchildren, Vicki Sickles, Columbus, OH; Jackie West, Holly Springs, GA; Robert M. Dean, Marietta, GA; Anthony Burger, Chatsworth, GA; great-grandchildren, Morgan West, Holly Springs, GA; Christopher Sickles, Columbus, OH. and her Special & dear friend Nora Nix of Ball Ground, GA She was pre-deceased by her husband, Glen Stoner and son, Raymond Stoner. Viola was a member of Ball Ground Baptist Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Jasper Chapter 479.
