Vonceil McCurley, age 88 of Holly Springs passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, May 25 at 11AM from Macedonia Memorial Park with Rev. Horace Richards officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 24 from 11AM-8PM at Darby Funeral Home. Ms. McCurley is survived by her Daughter, Bonnie Hill of Calhoun, GA, Daughter & Son-in-Law, Diane & Mike McFarland of Holly Springs, GA, Daughter & Son-in-Law, Carol & Cecil Nelson of Waleska, GA, Sister, June Abernathy of Ellijay, GA, also surviving are 7 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. Ms. McCurley was preceded in death by her Husband D.J. McCurley and Daughter Linda Burton. She was retired from Kesslers Department Store in Canton. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
