Wade Rundle Smith, beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away on January 27, 2024. Wade was born the middle son of Rundle and Cinda Smith, and he shared a close bond with his younger sister, Leslie, and his older brother, Brad.
Wade's love story began when he married his high school sweetheart, Mary Anne, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and devotion. Together, they built their dream home and created a loving family with their son, Ramsey, and daughter, Mary Katherine.
Wade was a man of many talents and passions. He worked tirelessly in landscape and oversaw their cherished Christmas tree farm when their children were young, while Mary Anne pursued her passion as a talented photographer. Wade's love knew no bounds, and he stood by his family through thick and thin, always ready to offer support and kindness to anyone in need.
In the face of adversity, Wade's unwavering love shone brightly. In the years since the passing of his beloved wife Mary Anne, Wade deeply missed her presence and found solace in the sharing of both grief and love with their children. He and Ramsey shared a home together in recent years and have relished the rambunctious joy of their pup Max. Wade's heart overflowed with joy when he had the honor of walking his daughter, Mary Katherine, down the aisle last year to her groom Kyle Register, a moment he cherished deeply.
Wade had a special place in his heart for family gatherings, where he cherished moments spent with his children, son-in-law, and parents before they passed, along with his siblings, nieces, nephews, and their families, laughing and connecting with each generation. He was a pillar of tenderness and love for his family, relishing every moment spent together.
Wade will be remembered for his boundless love, generous spirit, and tender teasing sense of humor. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
