Walter "Sonny" Pinyan, age 71 of Calhoun, GA passed away on May 29, 2014 at his residence. The Pinyan family will be accepting family and friends on Saturday, May 31, 2014 and also Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 11 AM until 7 PM at Darby Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 11 AM from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Reverend George Chastain and Reverend Geral Richards will be officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home, 1101 15th Street, Augusta, GA 30801. Survivors include Wife Etta Pinyan of Calhoun, GA; Mother Ruby Pinyan of Canton, GA; Son Michael Shane Pinyan of Canton, GA; Son Timothy Reynolds of Cumming, GA; Son and Daughter-In-Law Jason and Kayla Reynolds of Ball Ground GA; Daughter and Son-In-Law April and Mark Ramsey of Cuming, GA; Daughter and Son-In-Law Lori and Naybo Dodd of Resaca, GA; Brother and Sister-In-Law Ronnie and Linda Pinyan of Canton, GA; Sister and Brother-In-Law Virginia and Harry Cooper of Canton, GA; also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
