Walter Thomas Sergy, 90 of Canton, GA passed away Sunday July 7, 2013 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.  Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00pm Wednesday July 10, 2013, from Our Lady of La Salette Catholic Church with Father Victor Reyes officiating.  Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery at 2:30pm.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4pm.  Survivors include daughters, Clare Clark, Canton, GA; Dale Bruss, Emery, SD; Leslie Staggers, Keyser, WV; Dana Stull, Raleigh, NC; son, Marcus Sergy, Ludlow Falls, OH; 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild also survives.  The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
