Wilbur Gene Edwards, 88 of Hartwell, GA passed away Saturday May 12, 2012 at Lake Point Assisted Living Center. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00am Tuesday May 15, from the Macedonia Memorial Park with Rev. Justin Watson officiating. Survivors include Wife, Juanita Edwards, Hartwell, GA; Daughters, Melanie Turner, Elberton, GA; Melinda Self, Eatonton, GA; Sisters, Virginia Townsend, Marietta, GA; Betty Davis, Guyton, GA; 2 Grandchildren, Rachael Self, Eatonton, GA; Rebecca Self, Athens, GA. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
