Mr. William Johannes George of Waleska, passed away on February 6, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. George was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 15, 1938 to parents Willi and Maria Krummaneaur George. He was retired from the United States Air Force. He will be laid to rest following a private graveside service at the Georgia National Cemetery.

Mr. George is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Barbara; sons and daughters-in-law, William Johannes and June George, Jr. of Shreveport, Louisiana; Steven Craig and Tracy George of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Daughter and son-in-law Wendy Lea and Michael Jellison of Belle Plaine, Iowa. Brother and sister-in-law, Don and Debi George of Woodstock and sister Eleanore Heschl of Long Island, New York. He is also survived by grandchildren, Krystle Baucom, William George, Jordan George and April George; and great-grand daughter Delilah Ragan.

Mr. George will be remembered as a kind man; loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and will be missed by all those who knew him.
