William Nelson "Buddy" Holt, age 87 of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 1:30p.m. from Georgia National Cemetery. Mr. Holt is survived by wife Annette Holt of Canton, sons William Timothy (Debbie) Holt of Newnan and Steven Nelson Holt of Moreland, daughters Melanie Anne (Stan) Buffor of Canton and Carole Lynn (Jim) Wood of Cumming, brother Charles (Janie) Holt of Fayettville, and sister Louise Duncan of Dunwoody. Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
